I have been an active photographer since moving to Southern California(Huntington Beach) in the early 70's. My passion for travel has taken me to many exotic locations throughout the world including Myanmar, Angkor Wat, Thailand, French Polynesia, Mexico, China, France and recently Italy. I have always had a camera in hand (or tripod) and am now working exclusively in the digital domain using Nikon Cameras and Lenses.
I have always had a proactive approach to photography and participate in all phases of the creative processes including framing and matting my images. I previously printed all of my work personally in my darkroom (both Black & White as well as Color) but am now printing all of my work exclusively on an Epson 4800 digital printer using Hahnemuhle and Moab Papers as my primary media. I can also print to canvas upon request.
All of my images that were shot on film have been scanned into the computer utilizing a Minota Dimage Scan Multi film scanner. For editing my images I use a variety of software programs including Digital Light & Color's Picture Window Pro, DxO (for digital image raw files) and QImage for printing. Prints larger that 16X24 are printed using a local printing lab. I have designed and implemented this web site using Dreamweaver CS4 as my primary tool.
